Deputy Director (maternity cover)

We are looking for an interim Deputy Director to work closely with the Executive Chair and Board to lead the team in implementing the charity’s strategy and vision to ensure that more children have the opportunity to overcome the effects of trauma and disease.

Start Date: January 2020 for nine months to one year

This role will be responsible for ensuring that the charity generates the income required to fund the charity’s ambitious plans and for financial planning and reporting. You will be expected to ensure the systems and processes are in place to support the effective and efficient management of the organisation. As a proactive and entrepreneurial leader, you will be happy to take the hands on approach, managing a small and motivated team. A passion for enabling children to fulfill their potential through a sustainable, bottom-up approach to development is a must.
