LAUREN JACOBSON

Lauren Jacobson was Director of the One to One Children's Fund until Spring 2010 when she moved up to the Board of Trustees. She brings a wealth of skills and experience to the organisation.

A lawyer by training, Lauren built a highly successful legal career in South Africa, specialising in human rights and media law.

Lauren has lectured in media law, ethics and public interest law and taken a leading role in furthering the cause of women and those disadvantaged in South Africa.

She has worked at a senior level in the UK government, notably as policy consultant at the UK Department for Constitutional Affairs (now the Ministry of Justice) advising on the UK Supreme Court, as well as freedom of information and human rights.
