We are delighted to offer our supporters a unique opportunity to accompany acclaimed South African artist, Mary Sibande, on the opening morning of her major exhibition, I Came Apart at the Seams. The exhibition will be introduced by Tamar Dresdner, who is curating Mary Sibande’s forthcoming exhibition in New York.

The ticket price includes meeting Mary Sibande, a tour of the exhibition by curator Tamar Dresdner, and entry to 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair.

Mary Sibande is one of South Africa’s most prominent contemporary artists. I Came Apart at the Seams is her first solo exhibition in the UK of new and celebrated works. We are delighted to offer this exclusive invitation to our supporters to meet with Mary Sibande and enjoy a private view with curator Tamar Dresdner.

The exhibition is in partnership with 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair at Somerset House. In its seventh edition, 1-54 is the leading art fair dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora.

Art for ART

One to One Children’s Fund has been a leader in expanding access to Anti-Retroviral Treatment (ART) for children and mothers in Africa for over 15 years. The private view of Mary Sibande’s is part of One to One Children’s Fund’s Art for ART initiative. Art for ART is a series of high impact creative arts events designed to generate support and visibility to increase access to ART and eliminate HIV.
