Jonathan Penkin

Jonathan Penkin joined our Board of Trustees in 2016. He is the London-based Head of Growth for Emerging Markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
David Thompson

David Thompson

For many years, David Thompson worked for the BBC in documentaries, the Drama department, and ultimately as Head of BBC Films. He left in 2007 to set up his own film and TV production company, Origin Pictures.

Emma Bell

Emma Bell has diverse senior leadership experience in non-profit organisation in the UK and USA. Educated at Cambridge University, and has worked as a Senior Manager in the NHS, followed by three years in Russia with Medecins Sans Frontieres.

Gary Lubner

Gary Lubner studied finance at the University of Cape Town and on graduating joined Arthur Andersen where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981. He completed his MBA programme at London Business School in 1991 and joined Belron soon after graduating.

Development Board and Special Advisers

The Development Board brings together highly-respected, well-connected and talented people from a range of commercial sectors to support the Board of Trustees and Staff of One to One Children’s Fund in pursuing the organisation’s vision, mission and strategy. Each member brings a personal commitment and a willingness to volunteer their time, experience and expertise. Many carry out an ambassadorial role on behalf of the charity and all are committed to help the charity secure vital funds for our work with vulnerable children.

Rael has held a number of executive positions, as well as helped co-found several successful early-stage financial services and technology ventures.

Marcia Mishcon has had a lifetime involvement with the art world, studying at Liverpool College of Art, The Slade and Goldsmiths.
