Harry Redknapp asks players to
give back, at a fundraising breakfast for One to One Children’s Fund.
A day before the AC Milan showdown, Harry Redknapp, Manager of Tottenham Hotspur was interviewed at an exclusive fundraising breakfast event in support of One to One Children’s Fund. He spoke fondly about his career in football and in particular his time at White Hart Lane and of his preparation for the big match.

Harry spoke about the commitment and dedication of players like Frank Lampard and David Beckham and how important it was that we should all give back. He wished players would get more involved with football schemes involving local children, and become role models for them.
The event helped to raise awareness of the Charity’s work with children affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa, where the Charity has developed an innovative way to use football to teach youngsters vital life skills through the Play Football for Life Programme (PFL). The programme runs in Rustenberg, South Africa, England’s base for the last World Cup.
Harry Redknapp is one of the most successful managers of his generation and has been tipped by many to be the next England manager. Harry is well known for being engaging, insightful and has a reputation for speaking his mind on any subject you care to discuss with him.
Funds raised at the breakfast will go towards One to One Children’s Funds programmes, rebuilding the lives of children suffering the effects of trauma and HIV/AIDS, including the ground-breaking Play Football for Life programme in South Africa. The event raised more than £50,000.
David Altschuler, Chairman of One to One Children’s Fund thanked Harry for his support:
