Tunbridge Wells to Paris Bike Ride
On Friday May 6th a group of intrepid cyclists departed from Tunbridge Wells and headed the 200 miles to the centre of Paris. One to One Children's Fund Chairman, David Altschuler, was amongst the team of nine riders that made their way through beautiful Kent country side en route to the 16.00 Dover ferry. Arriving in Calais early evening the riders were bussed further down the coast to Dieppe from where they continued their journey to Paris the following day. The team had perfect weather, dry warm and sunny. We are delighted to say 200 miles later all the team made it to the centre of Paris. The trip was such a success we are determined to repeat this ride in 2011.
