The Development Board brings together highly-respected, well-connected and talented people from a range of commercial sectors to support the Board of Trustees and Staff of One to One Children’s Fund in pursuing the organisation’s vision, mission and strategy. Each member brings a personal commitment and a willingness to volunteer their time, experience and expertise. Many carry out an ambassadorial role on behalf of the charity and all are committed to help the charity secure vital funds for our work with vulnerable children.
Beatrice Reed is the Chair of the Development Board of One to One Children's Fund. She joined One to One Children's Fund in 2010 when the Development Board was formed. Beatrice has worked in the City for just under 10 years and is a senior relationship manager with Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management. Beatrice holds a Msc Hons in International Management (CEMS) from the London School of Economics and speaks German, French and English.
Felicity is a former marketing and advertising executive who has been working as a homeopath for over 20 years. Working alongside other medical and complementary specialists in an integrated way, Felicity offers homeopathic care and treatment in all areas, but has a special interest in women's and paediatric health, which makes her a great fit for the charity. Felicity also has a background in psychology and was a founding member of South Africa Positive, an organisation which used to raise funds to pay for South African Children to receive HIV treatment before these were provided by the South African Government. Felicity is able to continue to support these children and many more through her active role on One to One Children's Fund's Development Board.
Monique Jackson is currently employed by Quintiles, a global Clinical Research Organisation providing clinical, consulting, capital and commercial solutions to the bio-pharmaceutical industry. As Director of Business Development, Monique is responsible for strategic partnership development, innovative model consulting and design. Prior to this, Monique held a variety of management, sales and operational roles in the pharmaceutical industry across Asia, Australia and the UK including leadership of international teams and management of global clinical trials in Infectious Disease, Immunology and Oncology.
Monique holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Macquarie University, Sydney, majoring in Human Genetics and Biochemistry and is currently completing an Executive Global Master’s in Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Marcia Mishcon has had a lifetime affair with the art world, studying at Liverpool College of Art, The Slade and Goldsmiths. She facilitates Art Events, is currently an Art Therapy volunteer at Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead and was formerly Artist in Residence at Highgate School. She has been a committee member of several charities and joined the One to One Children’s Fund Development Board at its inception in 2010.
Russell Mishcon continues to be a practising commercial lawyer, with over 40 years experience, and also has business interests. He was recently awarded a Master’s degree (with distinction) in Voluntary Sector Administration. He is a trustee of 4 other charities. As well as being an active member of the Development Board, Russell is also a member of the Board of Trustees and brings his tremendous legal and governance skills to the charity.
David is an independent film and television producer. He was the founding head of BBC Films, which he ran for over a decade. In 2008 he founded Origin Pictures, an independent production company making bold and ambitious drama for film and television. David has been involved with One to One Children’s Fund for a number of years and he is currently working with us to improve the representation of our work in film, as well as being an active member of the Development Board.
